As of 7 September 2026 the average price of AI-92 at Bishkek filling stations is 63 som per litre, AI-95 70 som, diesel 66 som. Petrol rose 1 som over the month, driven by higher wholesale prices in Russia, which supplies about 90% of Kyrgyzstan's fuel, and seasonal demand. We compare prices by region and work out monthly costs.

Prices by region

  • Bishkek and Chui region: AI-92 63, AI-95 70, diesel 66 som.
  • Osh and Jalal-Abad: 64 / 71 / 67 som.
  • Issyk-Kul region (Karakol, Cholpon-Ata): 65 / 72 / 68 som.
  • Naryn and Talas: 66 / 73 / 69 som.
  • Batken: 66 / 74 / 70 som.

The gap between the capital and remote regions is 3–4 som per litre, explained by logistics: fuel is trucked from depots in Kara-Balta and Osh.

Monthly spend

With 1,500 km a month and consumption of 9 l/100 km, a Toyota Camry owner in Bishkek spends about 8,500 som on AI-92. In Naryn it is 400 som more. For comparison, a year ago the same 135 litres cost 7,700 som.

Station chains differ by 1–2 som: Gazprom and Rosneft hold the upper end, regional chains are a som cheaper, but fuel quality is worth checking through receipts and reviews.

How to save

Fuel cashback is the easiest way: the MBank card returns 5% at Gazprom and Bishkek Petroleum, Bakai Bank 3% at any station. With 8,500 som of monthly spend that is 250–425 som. Chain loyalty programmes add another 2–3%. Compare fuel-cashback cards in the FinMarketKG debit card section.
